Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of XVI International specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving” and XV international symposium Energy and resource efficiency and energy saving”

On April 1, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting Prime Minister Aleksei Pesoshin, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of Russian State Duma and Russian Ministry of Energy, heads of regional energy saving centers took part in opening of XVI International specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving”, and XV international symposium Energy and resource efficiency and energy saving” at Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center in Kazan. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is important to have energy and resource saving programme in business sector and state-financed organizations. The latest solutions in this sphere were demonstrated at the exhibitions in Kazan. 

Director General and owner of Panam Engineers LTD (India) Jagdish Prajapati welcomed participants of the event and thanked Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for the opportunity to take part in the exhibition. He said Russia and India had actively cooperated since the 1970s, and business and partner relations between the countries are developing now. “We want to see new level of our relations. The recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to India was an important step in this area. We want to expand spheres of cooperation between our states to achieve mutual success,” Jagdish Prajapati said. 

Aleksei Pesoshin handed over awards to winners of the contest “Energy efficient equipment and technologies”.

After the official opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the expositions, where leading Russian, CIS, Indian and Turkish companies presented their innovative energy saving technologies and solutions.
